The man who has caused so much pain to Haiti by authorizing the kidnapping of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, a man duly elected did not travel to the country to see what he has done, but rather to witness the devastation of the earthquake. “Seeing it on television is one thing, but witnessing it first hand, is something else”, Bush said. Former president Bush did not have a chance to see first hand what the coup d’état and the kidnapping of Aristide well crafted by his administration and Condoleezza Rice, has done to the impoverished nation.

Haiti is a in a dire situation, one of the worst ever seen there. And is not only the impact of the earthquake of January 12, but the hypocrisy that the international community has been playing for many years. The tragedy is that the danger-that-be in Haiti were real, but the so-called friends of Haiti are aware of this, but they pretend not to see it, or that they know anything about it. They stand on the side of those who have pushed the country out of the modern world for over a century. Many people, being unable to resist, flee the country, those who wish to return to their homeland have not been able to do so, because foreign governments and embassies have always been involved in some kind of social unrest and political unrest and coup d’état.
